Throughout the 3 months internship period, I have been mainly responsible for proposing the mail drop coverage area in Shah Alam and Klang Valley, event coordinator and organizer for Chinese New Year dinner, defect master control and sales briefing in KEN Rimba Sales Gallery.

I have learnt to attend to details in every assignment that I have been assigned to. Every single detail has to be taken care in order to make the event successfully. It has been employee?s duty to reduce the possibility of error to minimum. Therefore, checklist has been extremely helpful when I ensure every detail has been attended to.

Communication and Coordination Skill

Organizing the Chinese New Year Dinner, I have to work hand in hand across department. Communication and coordination skills are essential when holding people across the organization together. Ensuring every people performing their job tasks according to schedule is part of my job scope and one of my key learning. Nevertheless, I will improvise my presentation in order to be more charismatic and persuasive in the near future.

One of the biggest self-improvement during the training period is time management. I have learnt to better utilize my time and organize my time to perform my jobs efficiently and effectively. As a marketer, timing of advertising strategy is crucial as it is correlated with the performance of sales. Place, product, promotion and price (4Ps) have to be customized according to the timing of entry and strategy. As an intern, it is essential for me to follow up and keep track of all the jobs that I have performed. Evaluation stage is the process to keep track of the performance and compare and contrast with the expected outcomes. Following-up the jobs that have been done have given me a space to improvise and correct the mistake that I have been made earlier and ensure a better performance in the future.

In addition, I have also learnt to be professional and versatile during performing my jobs.? Each job I am given a timeline to execute and complete, thus it is crucial to ensure that jobs are completed in timely manner regardless of the circumstances.

In conclusion, the internship experience in KEN Holdings Berhad has been a great assistance and enhance to my personal growth. It has been a pleasure to work in KEN Holdings Berhad, which they provide a stage for me to learn and improvise my skills.??
