LG Optimus G hits AT&T soon - Know Your Cell

AT&T will be offering the LG Optimus G Android phone starting on Nov. 2 and the smartphone will cost $199 with a new, two-year contract.?

The LG Optimus G could wind up being one of the best phones this holiday season, as it will land with a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and this should provide it with plenty of horsepower for games, browsing the web and more. Seriously, that's pretty much the cream of the crop when it comes to processors at this moment.?

The LG Optimus G for AT&T will also sport a 4.7-inch 1280x768 True HD IPS PLUS display - don't worry about the convoluted display name, it should be a stunning screen. You'll also be able to use AT&T's 4G LTE network, expect to have Bluetooth, GPS and 2GB of RAM.?

Interestingly enough, the LG Optimus G on AT&T will only have an 8-megapixel camera instead of the 13-megapixel one we're seeing on the international version and on the one that will land on Sprint. Another potential downer is that this smartphone will launch with Android Ice Cream Sandwich instead of the more-recent Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. We should be seeing a 4.1 update soon, though.?
